What I’ve been doing…

I’d like to make excuses about why I haven’t been blogging but honestly we both know you really don’t care. The loft is ALMOST cleaned up. So I didn’t make the end of December deadline but I’m sooooo close. I hit a snag because we did leave for two weeks so it just wasn’t do able. It also led into another project “The Bins”. So if you’re not familiar with the bins they basically are or were six? maybe seven large blue bins that were basically Jedd’s arch nemesis. He hates them; like with a passion and who sentence I say repeatedly that I know makes him want to bury my dead body in the back yard is “honey I’m going to need you to pull out the bins”. They were organized in no particular order but held all my clothes that could not fit in the closet. We basically determined I had to come up with a better solution because I clearly had a lot of clothes I couldn’t get to and was possibly rebuying things out of convenience. So most of the first week of January was spent going through the bins, donating clothes that didn’t work for a variety of reasons and then setting up four (it’s gonna be five) hanging racks in the 2^nd bed room to see what I had.

Needless to say I have A LOT of clothes. I feel no shame…but I will as Heidi said be “shopping my closet” from now on.

We have also been trying to get the living room in order. I think we may have found the couch of our dreams and may have found someone to install the mantel. Tax season is also reeving up so I’m currently on my last vacation for a while.
