Last night, for the sake of simplicity we opted to go to a tried and true “The Liberty Tree” on H Street in NE DC. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite restaurant in the neighborhood it would have to be Liberty Tree. I’ve tried most of the menu and it’s not just that nothing disappointed, it’s that each and every thing I have tried has been great. I haven’t had one bad thing, so much so that I’ve tried a lot of things out of my comfort zone. One of those things is a cod sandwich which we got and split with another unusual item for me a clam pizza.
I can’t say which I like better. The cod sandwich actually comes with tartar sauce which I despise, but they make it fresh here and it’s quite yummy. But I ONLY like the tartar sauce here, I’ve tried it since at other places thinking I didn’t know whether I like it or not.
I also thought clam pizza would be a mistake but the mistake would be you NOT getting this pizza.

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite place ot eat is a little place called York Shore House. They serve fish and chips, and I think chicken though I've never eaten anything but the fish. So good, and even though its pricey ($36 to feed two of us) its absolutely worth it.
